Sticker shock!
Stopped in at a Gander Mountain (Mooresville, NC) this afternoon on my way to visit a new customer. They were pretty well stocked on ammo, primers, and powder. All expensive though. Worse, the levers they had on hand were all over-priced. Not a huge selection either (of levers) though a lot of guns in stock in general.

Howdy,
Same around here.. (Brainerd, MN area)
GM has outragous pricing on everything. I don't see how they stay in business.....

It looks like they one in my area (NW Houston) is about to go out of business...
Re: Sticker shock!
Not sure why high prices at GM come as a surprise to anyone. It's a good place to browse and to get cutesy clothes for the missus, but that's about it.

Re: Sticker shock!
In the 1970s, I used to go to the original Gander Mountain outlet on a back road in Wilmot, Wisconsin. A concrete-block one story building in the middle of nowhere. They only had the one building then, their business was mail-order. There was a small service desk in the front where you could go in & put in an order. Then, in a few minutes, they'd bring out your stuff. I was stationed at Great Lakes, Illinois - about 45 minutes away. As I remember, their prices were sometimes a little below retail on a lot of stuff in those days.
My mind reader refuses to charge me..........

Re: Sticker shock!
That was want irritated me the most. The few used guns they did have were priced like new ones!!!
Re: Sticker shock!
I've only been in a GM a couple times and found their gun prices pretty ridiculous.
