Have a friend who works as a welder and sometimes has projects making tanks or boilers or something where there are cutouts like that leftover; my amateur welding skills are just good enough for me to make them into targets.

Most of the time though I just drill a couple holes for wires (strings get cut too fast by bullet fragments), make wire loops about three inches long for those holes, then use hay twine to hang them from T-posts.

Hey ya'll -- This is a simple hanging option as well. No welding involved and everything is available at your local hardware store. All except the target frame that is... Best regards. Wind

It also give a little down angle to help deflect bullets into the dirt below the target...

And you can slide them together to make a wider target for longer ranges...

Hey there Jeremy -- They are 3/8" mildish steel. I just shoot cast bullets at them and they seem to last just about forever. If they do get a "set" I can just turn the other side out. Best regards. Wind
