OT--Humor--101 Uses For A Dead Cat

Post by Sixgun »

Fellow Guncranks,
I'm off this week and you know the old saying, "Idle time is the Devil's workshop"! :D I found this old book down in the dungeon and got lots of laughs. Thought I'd share a few samplings with you boys.

Nothin' like wasting bandwith. :D -----------Sixgun

I like the fancy "page holder" you got there Sixgun!

Don't think I'll try that at the office............

(Though it might keep the few stooges we have away from my 'cube'...)

Yea, I could not keep the pages from flipping over. I tried a Model 29 "Smith, but it blocked out the view.

You know how it is with some people--they need to "lighten up" a bit. Life is too short to be miserable. ------------Me

I read that book years ago. Really enjoyed it. A co-worker and I came up with a bunch more ideas of how to use a dead cat and sent them to the author telling him they were for inclusion in "Another 101 Uses for a Dead Cat". The guy very courteously responded with a thank you and assured us there would be no sequel. The publisher must have twisted his arm because within a year we found the new book which contained our ideas. Hope he made some money from it.

I had that book, must have been 25 years ago. I gave it to a cat loving family when I finished with it.
