I thought that J Miller might be interested in this scope sale. Burris Fullfield II 3x9x40 on sale for $119.95.

Joe, fwiiw, I've had pretty good luck with Burris too. Just that they tend to be a bit higher priced for the quality - but if you can get one for $120 - go for it! IMHO

Another scope to look at is the Vortex Diamondback. I put one on my 223 and I am very pleased with it. Very clear, adjustments very predictable and a life time no questions asked warranty. SWFA also lists them and are competively priced. Just my .02.

Joe

I got one of these exact scopes on my .243, as does my cousin. We love em, think they're a real good scope for the money.

A Burris is a pretty good scope. I have a Compact 4 power that used to be on my muzzleloader and is now on a 7-08. It has been very good.

I picked up a Burris 2x7 recently and while the optics are good the zoom ring is overly stiff and I don't like that it's Chinee made. (Don't prefer anything Chinee made...) Redfields are U.S. made and I can't recall where my Bushnell Elite was made but I don't think it's a Chicom.

Best,
Oly

FWIW, I can vouch for SWFA, in that they are good to deal with - as I've been doing business with them, buying several scopes & various rings/mounts, over several years w/o problem one.

If you don't care for that particular offering, keep surfing their website, as they often chamge their weekly/monthly price leader/sale scopes.

I was jonesin' for a Trijicon Safari scope, but didn't want to pay the usual going (a little over $700) - but boughten myself one for a self-Christmas present when SWFA had them "on special" for $399.

great price, so I just scored one, I'm powerless to resist. I have 3 Burris scopes, they work great for me.

but you know how it goes, a scope just sittin' in the cupboard being lonely ..... I'll have to find a nice rifle to use it with.

Cheers,

Carl
