Leatherwood Malcom Scope?

Post by Rebel1972 »

Has anyone put a long or short Malcolm scope on their Marlin or Winchester levergun? have a 1895 cowboy with the 26" barrel and would like to see some pics with the long scope, especially.

I really like mine. I've taken deer with both rifles. The scopes have worked well, except in the rain. They didn't fog, but that small 3/4" tube is hard to see through if you have water drops on your objective lens.

I don't have one of the long scopes, but I'm considering another short one on my 1895 Cowboy as you are.

I'm wondering if the long scope will fit on the marlin .I already have a soule sight on my sharps and it doesn't have the screw to take it off the base, and I really dont want to have to take it off with a screwdriver. The front sight would have to be taken out .So I was thinking about getting the long scope for my marlin.
