I have this nagging suspicion that it's a Purdy double in 16 bore!!!  I don't think a Browning Auto 5 would be under 6 lbs...

Which would be "bigger than a breadbox" Mr. Stahle!

My actual resolution was not to buy any guns in 2011.
Not only did I make the purchase within 3 weeks of the
new year, it's   also the most I ever paid for a gun.

I think a Winchester 21 would be too heavy.
My guess would be a Parker 16 built on a 20 gauge frame??????? :D

Parker didn’t build very many of these 0 frame 16’s and so
explains why there so blasted expensive. And me being me,
just felt it necessary to have one… :)

No pwl44m, I didn't see the post about the 20 ga. Miller Eichstaett. I'm interested, I will look for it 8)

Thats a real sweet look'n shotgun.....
betcha cant wait to take it afield.....
and make it earn its keep....
God that brings back some memories...my Dad and I went to a gun shop
in New England somewhere....and this place had a bunch of parkers...
and a lot of trophies.....and one trophy stands out in my mind...
a 9' grizzly.....
But to a kid.....a parker was just another shotgun....
now i wish my Dad bought a parker...instead of the Beretta...
Still got the Beretta though...

Hope you enjoy it!

Why in Heaven's name would you make a silly resolution like that? I simply could not go a year without buying a firearm. I have enough trouble skipping a month sometimes when my next must have has to be saved for-heck my palms get itchy. My wife thinks I have a problem-problem? I no got no stinking problem, I'm investing. :D
