Receiver Sight Question
I was looking at the Lyman and Williams receiver sights catalogs and noticed that the Williams FP-94/36 sight fits either the Winchester 94 or the Marlin 336. Lyman, on the other hand has two separate models, the 66A for the Winchester and the 66LA for the Marlin. Any idea what the difference is between the 66A and the 66LA is?

Re: Receiver Sight Question
Bruce,
The Lyman 66A has an angled surface at the top of the base that matches the contour of the Win 94s receiver.
The 66LA is flat on the back to match the Marlin.
The Williams FP-94/36 is also flat to fit both.
