So, I guess you rode the motorcycle and he walked along side with the Winchester??

That's a neat pic. If anybody tried that today the riot that happened would be front page news.

Shame on you for not providing a seatbelt for your Ungulate-American passenger, or even a travel-rack for his gun...

:(
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Thats about a 1916 indian. Eastern whitetail. Looks like could be a couple of off duty cops by the early type uniform/rideing boots and coat. Edit: I am fairly sure thats a early siren behind the headlight.

Found a 1916 bike with hack up in northern Minnesota once but the guy wouldn`t sell it. It was red and in very nice shape, he said he and his wife rode it from MPLS up north before there were any roads just a government trail. They liked it so much up there they stayed and built a resort and are still there.
Yep your right looks like a siren, and probably are police officers.

I had a jump on things. I once found a 1916 indian motorcycle catalog in a old fallen down log cabin when deer hunting with my dad in wisconsin years ago. Looked exactly like the picture! Also found newspapers in goodshape at the same time about poncho villa`s raid in columbus N.Mex. Those boy`s "just got the look!"

Nuther thing. Look close at those guys. Every piece of cloths are identical. Early motor cop`s uniforms for some big city department. They just are on a hunt their day off sans badge and IDs useing their dept bike.

Well I'm all for the nice old Indian and the rather nice whitetail !

But he coulda used a Marlin instead of that offbrand

I remmember about 20 years ago that "Mann" guy that used to do the painted type pictures in Easyrider had a picture of a Indian Chief in there with a guy riding down the road . And he had a saddle scabbard on the side with a levergun and a defunct deer sitting behind him all tied on the "P" pad !

I've seen the picture before on the 'net. Montana or Idaho sheriff deputies, picture staged with rifle. Deer killed in collsion with auto. Some famous local person or politician injured in wreck.

Or, that's mostly what I remember.

Not a problem !

But I betcha if both the Indian and the 86 were in good 90% or better shape the Indian would be worth a great deal more then the rifle

On the other hand the 86 would be far easier to care for and protect !

Ahhhh still give me the Indian !

I think if you guys look real close you'll see that's an 1894, not an 1886.

Stupid guns. They all look the same. :D :D Its really something that you see what you WANT to see. I've even been known to call a Mossberg .22 bolt action an '86. (yea, I know--"saving face") :D ----Sixgun

Hang on, think about this for a minute. Take the bike (especially if it's in decent shape) and sell or trade it for a whole passel of Winchesters!
