No, but it looks like it would hit like a freight train...!

Do you know if it will feed through a Marlin...?

This is a new mould to me & haven't fired it yet. I don't have a Marlin but a 94 Winchester. I really see no reason it shouldn't though.

Lynn,

Welcome to Leverguns.

What does that bullet weigh? I'm not familiar with it at all, but it looks like something I might wanna try in the future.

I think Lyman claims it to be 151 grains when poured with Lyman #2 . I only used WW's and never bothered to weigh any .

Lynn,

So you haven't used that in that neat little 94 yet? I think you should go kill a deer with it.

Hobie

Let us know how it shoots.

I've been shooting this one in 30 wcf.,30 Rem, 30/40,300 S.,7.65 Arg.and 303 Br. for a decade or more(ever since i read some of Paco's writing on it for the 30/30..Have 3 Lyman moulds for it,and a 6c Lee group buy clone..The lee drops them at .315 with our alloy, and I won't size it down small enough for some 30 wcf's ,but at .312 or .313 it's a fine shooter in my Argies,303 Br. and a Krag or three with "generous " bores.I consider it the ideal cast bullet for the 300 S. Nothing larger than deer taken yet,but have Bull elk permit in Seven Devils country this Oct. and planning "something" with this bullet and a 307 W. custom rifle just acquired..I would buy this mould style ,even if paying one the reliable custom moldmakers for their work...At one time Western Bullet out of Missoula offered these ready to shoot..worth checking out if you are uncertain as to utility for your needa....
