A Couple Of Pictures For Hump Day...

Our hardworking talented forefathers building the guns we cherish and still
enjoy to this day. I have no info. on the first picture. The second is a water
driven trip hammer taken in 1910.

Most of the guns in the first picture look like SxS's.
The guy in the foreground looks like he's holding an
octagon barrelled rifle to me. What do y'all think?
Did you notice the very used mallet on the bench?

That triphammer doesn't seem like it would be well-suited to precise or delicate work, but those fellers probably made her "hum"---

Doubt it sounded like a hum though.
