1886 EL's

Post by 3leggedturtle »

Were the EL's ever made with an octagon barrel. Would like to know if they were made that way from start of production to the end of reproduction models?
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Thanks for the answer. I did see barely used Miroku EL for $1100. Was/is that a decent deal?

I paid $950 for my new Grade I Winchester/Miroku M86 EL, and $1050 for my new Grade II Winchester/Miroku M86 EL - but that was 5-6 years ago.

The way I feel about gun price tags is: If I like the gun, I do whatever it takes to acquire it {plastic/whatever), since money is only green paper - I can always get some more, somewhere/someway/somehow.

Once yer under the grass, NOTHIN' will concern ya ! ;)

Now that is funny!

I have told my wife the same thing for the past 35 years  And believe it or not, she agrees... :o
