We are only alowed 1 deer per year so my deer hunting is over for this year.
When I was walking out to get my quad to take the deer out this mornong I put a bunnch of partridge off so I guess my model 11 16 ga is going to get tested tomorrow.

I think of all the years I had to walk miles and miles up and down mountains to even catch sight of any deer - and now they are moochers (but welcome) right here in my back yard. My house was on the edge of town when I bought it in 1975 - now, I'm told the geographic center of town is less than 2 miles east of us - but, we do had some 20+ acres that ore wooded and designated "open space" that can never be developed for housing.
