My Guidegun now outfitted scout scope style.

Post by Win94 »

Well after using open sights and or a reciever mounted scope i have decided to try the scout set up. Burris 2X long eye releif scope with Leupold quick release rings mounted to the Ashley XS scout base. It also has the Ashley XS ghost ring and a Williams Firesite front fiber optic sight. Hoping to get some range time soon.

Sweet lookin'.....assault levergun? :D :D

Is the stock painted? Or is it composite aftermarket?

Very nice not having to worry about rain, mud, etc.

Truck bedliner. The only way it comes off is by grinding it off.

Truck Bedliner ... I'd have never thought that would look acceptable but darn if it doesn't look great on that rifle. I'd have thought that it would have not evenly filled in near the checkering but your example looks fantastic.

win94, That is a nice setup. My marlin 45-70 is similar. I have the ghost ring sights and a quick release on the XS rail and it works great. You can remove it and when you replace it, the zero is dead on. I've removed mine several times and it still hits right on.
