Well I suppose congrats are in orser for reaching that point and getting the nice Savage !

But if you're like me , it PO'd me to no end this year when I turned 50 :cry:

But then I thought it certainly does beat the alternative :lol:

Happy birthday to you. You have a little less than a year on me. (my b day was on the 19th I turned 57) I see we both have the same taste in rifles. That is a real nice looking one. Which model and what caliber?

Hey Guys, Thanks for the birthday wishes. The rifle is chambered in 300 Savage and was made in 1951, excellent condition and perfect bore. You missed the 54 Lb. box of seafood it was sitting on. I love pacific oysters

yes best levergun ever made, if it doesnt group for you take the forearm off and shoot it for group if it cleans up theres a couple things you can do for the forearm. Ive got mine at about an inch after modifying,shooting with speer deep curls & RL-15. danny
