Thank you for all the well-wishes and positive comments. All credit goes to my wife Vandi for putting up with me for all these 31+ years, she is a jem. It seems just like it was yesterday when we made our vows, I guess we must be having fun because time sure has flown by in a blink of an eye. My eldest turns 28 on May 1st and I remember changing his diapers, doesn't seem that long ago.

Haven't hunted since Texas Feb. 2008 nor fished in almost a whole year. Had 2 back surgeries since the Texas hunt and found out I will be needing another one as soon as my insurance stops jerking us around about approval. Not much else happening.

Aloha Les, best wishes to you and Darlene on your retirement and move to Idaho. Through the marvel of Google Earth I visited my old stomping grounds in Idaho but was surprised at how much even McCall, Idaho has changed but I guess 30 year is a long time so change should be expected. Vandi and I always talk about visiting old friends in Idaho, if we ever do we'll look you and Darlene up. Always wanted to fish Couer d'Alene and Pend Oreille lakes. Are you guys AP'ing this month? We did last March but health reasons may prevent us this time around, we shall see.

Congrats, 30 years is a blessing for you and to share with us. Health robbed me of a bunch too but my sweet wife and kids make all the trials and BS meaningless when I look with clear eyes.

Hey hang around so we can tell you stories and you can share in our shooting. I just started again and before firing more than 50 rounds got cancer. I oiled up my good friend and hunting partner, Marlin 444, just today. I can't shoot that old friend unless I load it down to a pipsqueak load. Without this forum my last year would have been much more trying and my health worse.
