Re: Some cartridges lined up
Question? Why do you guys go from right to left?
Sorry Earl, you missed the first and the last which ever way you see them... But you were close... The far right one might be throwing a little curve at you, they use to normally be round nose...
Hobie has the left one right ... or is that right that he got the left
OTH, "They don't count 'cause of their funny look'n pointy tips" But they still do their job... LOL

Well that's embarassing. Can't believe I missed on 30 Remington and 35 Remington -- both of which I load. And I load a "pointy tip" 180 grain Hornady in my 35's, too (I'm one of those guys that thinks the "no pointy tips in tube magazines" thing is an old wives' tale. sheeesh.

Re: Some cartridges lined up
I figured you guys would figure them out in no time at all...
I kinda wished I had some oddball calibers that would have made you all guess for a few days. But alas I don't
Thing in the picture is all of them run about the same ol ...well, the 308 was a bit taller.
grouped by long necks, no necks and short necks
Hope you liked the pic.

There are LOTS of cartridges in these, but I'm not posting them to show off; just to continue the same theme - cartridge pictures are COOL. . . !
LOTS of cartridges:
The 'levergun' ones I have aren't very exotic, though...

You had all but two correct, and Old Savage nailed them. . . !Old Savage wrote:32-20 and 35 Remington.
That .32-20 does look especially 'tapered' next to the .38 Special, but they are not even the 'modern' .308" bullets.
