Maybe you've seen this one.......A very calm reaction to a close encounter, IMO....I'm not sure I'd have let him get that close.... :shock:

never had one want to climb in the tree with me :shock:
dang...that guy really has some nerves!

but i have had them within 15 yards of me
in the top pic the bear had just walked by...
and i promply told him to beat it....i'm hunting...
he didnt...and hung around for a while
didnt see any deer that hunt!

the bottom pic
this little guy was with his sister....who just ran off
when i snapped the shot

and these were the small bears :o

No reason for a red alarm, but I think I'd change my cover scent just to prevent that sort of curiosity.

He obviously wasn't looking for a bear, and whatever scent he was trailing sure pulled that one in.
