Prayer request - possible new job opportunity

Some of you may know, and others not, that I'm currently recovering from back surgery. It has been a tough road and hasn't gone as anyone expected. It's been a much more difficult recovery than anticipated. I had nerve damage after the surgeon had to go in 3 days after my initial surgery to remove a blood clot and widen the nerve canal.

Anyway, I am currently on worker's comp, and so far my company is holding a position open for me. If I have no restrictions when I'm cleared I will probably have a similar job waiting for me. If I have restrictions all bets are off. I have been praying about this situation, and out of the blue today I get a phone call from a friend telling me about a job opportunity doing what I know best. It takes all of the physical aspects out of the equation. I called and talked to the company, sent them my resume, and they are very interested in hiring me. I don't know if this is an answer to prayer or something else altogether. I'd appreciate some prayers that I will make the right decision and that everything will work out financially. For me to take this job several things would have to fall into place. Thanks

Well good luck; often things happen for the best. I've noticed many times I've stepped from ice floe to ice floe just as they go by.

And if it doesn't look good once you're there, you might still have a shot with your previous employer.

Shooter, you have my heartfelt prayers for the wisdom to make the right decision, and the peace to live with your destiny, which after all is God's will.
Also praying for your back to keep healing. I'm now almost 9 months out from having two lumbar discs removed and replaced with synthetic. It ain't been fun, and I will never be the same.
