I have heard both ways on the Swift brand stuff. I have a Burris straight 4 I have used on different guns and it has always been good. You can usually scratch around and find a used one on the net.

I have two Swift scopes. One variable pistol scope on my .30 Carbine Blackhawk and a 4x fixed on my Romanian M69 .22LR trainer. I have not had any problems with either whatsoever. I also bought both of them used. The pistol scope from a forum member here.

I would/will buy another if the opportunity arises.

Edited to add a pic of my Swift pistol scope

I'll see about taking one of my 4x rifle scope

damienph,
Thank you, I would not have considered them otherwise.

Mescalero,
I got the pistol scope first and was so pleased with it I bought the 4x rifle scope from a Kansas gun forum classified when I saw it advertised. Those two are the only experience that I have with Swift optics but I am very pleased with both.
If you try one, I would be very interested in knowing what your experience with it is.
