Very nice, never had a chance to try one, rare over here!

I did have one of their light autos a while back, thing kept breaking but it sure fitted me well.

I bought this ithica 20 guage supream skeet new in febuary 1985. If you can belive it, I have yet to fire it. Its been sitting in the safe all that time with a sticker still on the stock. At the time I bought it on a huge sale. I see I paid $239.64 for it. Wonder what it would bring today?

Thanks. Here is another old/new one I only shot once. Its a browning BSS in 12 guage. I think I bought this one in 1978 also for half price. The deal was Jack first the gun parts guy that now is in rapid city used to own "The Gunshop" in lancaster california where I was from. Once a year he would have a huge sale for 5 days. Not everything in the store, but lots of stuff. It was 10% off the first day and the 5th day it was 50% off what was left! Liveing right there I was there every morning of the sale and on the 4th and 5th day it was a real zoo! Over many years I bought many guns from him. I alsoam showing a nickle 2 1/2" python I bought from him on the 5th day of his sale I think in 1971 for about $165s back then! That has been my best deal I think!

I always thought and still think the word 'Ithaca' is a
very cool sounding name 8)

Cool name for a cool place.

From Homer's Odyssey
" dwell in shining Ithaca. There is a mountain there,
high Neriton, covered in forests. Many islands
lie around it, very close to each other,
Doulichion, Same, and wooded Zacynthos--
but low-lying Ithaca is farthest out to sea,
towards the sunset, and the others are apart, towards the dawn and sun.
It is rough, but it raises good men."
I love that last part. Reminds me of the American West.

Congrats on the 37. Love my older (late 50s) 16 ga and have a 30 year old 20 that's next-to-new destined for a gf.
