PRAYER REQUEST - For a friend

My best friend of 40 years called earlier today. He had an accident and has third degree burns from his knees down to his ankles and second degree on his ankles. Says he is doing OK, but it might be a bit before he is out of the woods. Lots of swelling and he is going in for surgery tomorrow to remove the dead skin.

He was using a cutting torch which ignited some grass near his feet. He tried to stomp it out and his coveralls (kinda greasy) caught fire. He said he dropped and rolled, but didn't do much, so he had to get the coveralls off.

He is pretty tough but you just never know with burns.

I would appreciate a few prayers for Hal. Thanks

I feel for him. Burns are the worst, been there done that. Will say a prayer for his speedy recovery.
