Been some very bad times on the home front we`ve been dealing with that i didn`t feel i needed to burden you guys with so i took a break for a bit.
My appreciation of your friendships can not be stressed enough and thank you all for it.
We have been trying to keep busy building boats and running them in the now melted skating rink.
I hope to drop in a little more in the future.

Nothing wrong with takin a break every now and again

--- I've been telling my wife I need one for a couple of years now --- while I just want to go to Moab and Gooseberry Mesa and ride mountain bikes and trail motorcycles for a couple of weeks, - she envisions that really means i'll be in Vegas with strippers and such

My wife would probably prefer me goin' to Vegas... she knows I don't gamble (much) and sez as old as I am, I'm less likely to hurt the strippers than getting hurt on any type of motorbike.

Glad you're back and look forward to hearing about all your cool projects. Hopefully you'll have smoother sailing for awhile; some stormy seas this past year for you. We really were 'rootin' for you, however it came across.

I would like to see more of what makes those little boats run, and - can it be done on a bigger scale...???

Well thanks pards for the warm welcome, just so ya all know i didn`t lurk here while gone only dropped in once when bro Terry had posted.
The boats have been fun, the PT boat and the African Queen have factory steam engines in them made by PM Research.
All other boats have engines we built and also the stationary engines.
I`ll get a thread started just about the steam boats and engines.

Dern hard drive crashed last Friday and just now back on line.
