Do the barrels free float or are they beaded stem to stern?

I always like that look. But could never find one for a southpaw. Please don't mention the Ruger single shots, I held one and it just didn't "feel" right to me.

Nice! I'm a sucker for Mannlichers...

I'm thinking long and hard about an Interarms G33/50 that someone modified the original stock into a sporter Mannlicher. The G33/50 is simply a Swede 1894 full stock carbine that Interarms renamed to get around import restrictions. The barrel was only 17.5" IIRC and were specifically named on a ban list in the 60s. Interarms tack welded a 1/2" extension to the barrel, renamed it and the Revenooer Men had no problems with it.

I've been eyeing it for over a year but we're still too far apart on the price.

I've always wanted one of those CZ 550FS Mannlicher-stocked 6.5 Swede carbines.
Pure gun sex.

My latest mannlicher stocked gun !

A Mannlicher Schoenauer 61MCA in 243 WIN made in 1963 !

Image

Have another Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1908 in 8x56MS and a Mauser 98 thats been restocked in the mannlicher fasion thats in 8x57 . Just don't have pics of those two on my PC .

I think I'll have enough mannlicher stocked rifles if I can get my hands on another MS 61 MCA in 270 WIN .Well and maybe a Blaser K-95 Stutzen in 6.5x57R

A 6.5x54 1956 carbine.
Will take it hunting this year.
It will be its first time out since the early 1960's.
