TOP SHOT has redeemed themself.

Post by horsesoldier03 »

Well like most, I swore off Top Shot when back when it was apparent it was a popularity contest and not a shooting contest. However, I did see the new season episode and approve of their transformation.

They started with 16 shooters in a timed shooting event. The bottom 8 shooters had to shoot 1 shot at a bullseye and the 2 that did the worst had to compete to see who went home. NO TEAMS or DRAMA at all, it is now solely your shooting performance that takes you into the next round! This season is referred to as the All Star Season and brings back competitors from previous seasons. I think several of them were from the season when the buddy system secured your seat in the next round.

missed it...darn....and I like the show
but..it still can be "engineered" for a certain person to win...and/or create drama
by messing around with the ammo...if you know what i mean....

I caught it too. I never did like the teams and back stabbing that went on. If it's a show to find the true "Top Shot" keep it a competition where everyone is a friend. You could tell right off that the competitors were very happy about this set up.

It wouldn't surprise me to find that you'd have some disagreement with that statement... unless you were home alone!

Y2K and I enjoyed it. Heck though, I put up with the malarkey from previous seasons just to see the cool guns and enjoy a shooting show. I would love to fire some of the weapons they have on the show!

Blaine is a crack shot and would be competitive in any group of shooters. If it didn't involve running.

I'm a crack shot too. My usual 444 100 yard group is under a half inch. I can shoot ten of those groups in a row. Of course it only takes ten shots.
