Wife and kids surprised me for Father's Day

Post by olyinaz »

With a nice gift! A Cutco camp knife:

I was very pleasantly surprised! I've always spoken highly of a decades-old Cutco camp knife that I inherited from my mother, and the boys picked this out on their own. :D
Cheers,

That's a real beauty. :D A knife that nice does not get used in camp, except maybe to show your buds or to cut off a hanging thread from your socks, just to prove it works.

A very nice knife like that is like most prized possessions we have, the next guy will use it for what it was meant for. :D ------------Sixgun

A friend of mine bought a Cutco kitchen knife for his wife from a kid a church that was selling them. She tried using it 3 times. Every time she took it out of the drawer to use it she cut her self with it cause it was so sharp. After the third time she put it back in the cardboard sleeve, put it back in the drawer where it has been for the last 15 years. When I go over there and mention Cutco knives she tries to sell it to me every time.

Congratulations, Happy Father's day.

White or black handle? My old one is the black material so now I've got both. The old sheath is long gone so I'm going to order a new one.

White Handle.....They had a rare sale on them, and I got one.....I've been tempted to get one of their K-Bar copies.....But, dang, they are real, real proud of them

And in general! They're not bargains, but they sure do work.

I might dip mine in that blue rubber tool grip stuff....the handle is real slippery when wet, and that dang thang would slice ya down to the bone in a jiffy....
