6-48 Thumb screws

Post by 3leggedturtle »

Is here such a thing? Trying to cobble together a project that is bugging me. Can drill and tap to next larger size if needed. But would really like to keep it unmodified.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

You can make lots of things from those black allen-head screws Ace hardware sells (the ones with the chunky cylindrical tops). There is plenty of meat to grind, file, shape, and solder to. I made a tang sight shaft with threaded aperture using one.
