Way back when I was a youngster there used to be a small museum on the NW corner of 10th Ave and Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ. Outside the museum was two small steam locomotives. That was back in the mid 60s.
The one thing I remember inside the museum was a hand made wooden scale model of the USS Arizona.
The building the museum was in is still there, but now it's the offices to the park.
What I'd like to ask for is some help from those in Phoenix.
The next time you go buy that area, check around and see if maybe I'm off a street or two. Perhaps my memory is faulty.
And for those who are skilled in searches could you help me by stepping into the way back machine and locating some pics of that museum? I don't remember it's name, but it was there for a very long time.
Thanks
Joe
