You ever have this happen?

Post by 3leggedturtle »

Have an Aimpoint 9000L on my Henry 22 Mag Lever. Sighted to hit dead on at 44 paces. Shooting at 25 yards it is also point on. Took it off the Henry and stuck it on my MKIII 22/45. It shoots dead on to same POI at 25 yards also. Never had this happen going from a rifle to rifle let alone rifle to pistol. No sighting in, no adjusting just put dot on Prairie Dog spinner and wait for it to stop for next shot.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Yes, coincidental. I've had it happen with iron sights.

Sounds like those two guns are destined to be a "pair" for a lifetime... 8)
