1. A sincere THANKS to you for your generosity in donating the holster, and going to the effort to set up a raffle for it.

2. The holster appeared VERY nicely made, so I'm betting many of us on the forum would like to see more examples of your handiwork - do you sell them, or just make them for your personal use...?

AJMD429 ,It`s just a hobby for me but I do make an occasional one for a friend.
I have sold a couple to guys here. Leather is so expensive now that there is no money to be made and people who do make them as a side line cant even hope to make minimum wage at it.
I bought a 9-10 oz. double shoulder piece of vegetable tan the other day that was 11 sq. ft. on sale for $80. I bet that 20% of it will be waste due to defects. It`s hard to compete with the big boys when there are lots of makers selling at good prices.

thanks chuck! It is a very nice holster, I do not own a 1911, but my son does and he wants it badly. I will give it to him today. If anybody is looking for some nice leather holsters, look chuck up, I am sure he can give you a good bang for the buck. :D
