Prayer request for my wife's friend.

Post by J Miller »

My wife's friend Cindy has been fighting cancer and infections for something like 10 years. She's had surgery, chemo and radiation and I suspect her immune system is trashed. She's sick again with a sinus infection and fever and may be going to the hospital again tomorrow. She doesn't want to but if she can't get the fever down, she'll have to.
My wife adds that she's tired of fighting.

So I'd like to ask for prayers for her. She needs to kick this once and for all.

Thanks in advance.

Joe and Elaine

Prayers up Joe.

Oddly enough my wife's name is Cindy and she just had a cancerous kidney removed three weeks ago.

Thanks for all the prayers, I'm sure they are helping.

My wife spent much of the day yesterday with her and did some of her shopping for her. Cindy lives alone with only her dog for company. Her family is no help to her, and are actually a drag on her emotions and finances. I think she needed some company from a real person who was willing to help just because she needed it, not because they wanted something.

Any ideas on where to look for information on vitamins, supplements and the like to help build a cancer patient's system back up after chemo and radiation?

Joe, bless your wife for being such a good friend. I wish I could offer advice on measures to regain health in the face of such difficulty.
