ARE YOU ALONE FOR THE HOLIDAYS 2014

This is my 10th year of this offer.

If you will be alone for Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years (or any seasonal holidays - Hannukah - it doesn't matter what denomination) you are welcome in my home. Come spend a few days with my family and I for food, companionship and celebration. There is no cost to you.

This is completely anonymous - you can contact me via PM or phone or email and I will not ever disclose your visit. We have hosted others in the past that have become friends but the confidentiality remains.

This year has been tough. My family has been through the ringer. We no longer have any income or benefits as of the end of the year. We are likely to have to move, and maybe reach out for help. I want to be forthcoming about that before someone visits. However, don't hesitate. The LORD will look out for us in the future and we want to share with you now, while we can.

I fear this will be the last year I can make this offer. Please, don't be alone for the holidays. Come share with us.

Well, Joe - your invitation for the 10th is a wonderful thing.
Shows what a fundamentally decent sort you really are, and
that you have a clue as to what the holiday season is actually
supposed to be about.

I'll be alone for at least part of this holiday season for the first
time in decades. If you didn't live in Texas and I didn't live in Maine,
I might take you up on your offer. I don't suffer the fools in the TSA
gladly, so I no longer fly commercially, and I just don't have time for
the drive.

But many, many thanks for the invitation, and the very best of wishes
to you and yours in the New Year. I'm sure something will work out - it
almost always does.
