If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

These are a few of the children from the Iris Children's Center in Mieze ... the Center is called "The Village of Love". We have 52 children there at the present. This is the village where our Goat Project is located and the children always love helping me with the goats. All the children there have either lost all of their family or have only one or two relatives and those relatives cannot take care of them. The two girls in the bottom photo are sisters. Their family died several years ago. They were sad little things when they were brought to the Center. But they have learned that they are loved and protected and cared for and they have learned to be happy again! Some of these kids have gone through things that I wonder "How can they cope?" but it is amazing what love and care will do.

Some of those kids will grow up to be talented and achieve great things because of your work. They will likely be far more focused on helping others as well as they grow up.

Awesome and rewarding stuff; you are a lucky man to have such a calling to fulfill, and it looks like you are doing it well.

Glad to hear this is going on. It reminds me of the passage, "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God is this, to visit orphans and widows in their time of need and to keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:27 Providing for the orphans is one way to directly do something for Jesus Christ Himself. Does my heart good. Most, if not all, my children each support one or more children through Compassion ministries. Keep up the good work.

JimT wasn't "attacked" -- he was adopted too! :D

With everything else that's in the news these days, I have to admit, I really needed to see this............. Makes my heart glad.

Bless You and thank you JimT!

Good job Jim. Thanks for the pics of these beautiful young spirits and your post about your work. If nothing else they serve to remind me to be thankful for all the blessings God has given me.
