A good dog gives a lot of love and pleasure during its short life, which can be measured by the sadness they give us when they leave.
Sorry for your loss.

You have my sympathy. I still miss Whiskers. We lost her last year, and I still look out the back window sometimes and sort of catch a glimpse of her. Probably just my imagination, but she was a great dog. Family members such as good, or great, dogs are hard to get over. We started a new chapter in our lives with another dog, but the old chapter is not lost to history.

Good luck with healing the pain of loss. Seems as if we all have been through it, and you know that we are all there for you. I received a ton of support when Whiskers died, and it really helped.

Ms. Boots,.
You helped me greatly when my Skittles passed over the Great Divide. Your words gave me solace.

I'm with ya......for real.......I feel the pain of others.

I thank ALL of you. Posting about my love helps me heal. I been through this also many times as a breeder of horses, I always had a dog at my side. This is just another piece of my heart gone which is fine. I would have it no other way!
I love and miss her so. I still have Dances with Wolves and I constantly remind myself I have to give her love now more than ever since see too is missing Cayenne.
With every loss there is such pain and it never gets any easier. thanks for looking at my video of Cayenne and taking the time to share your thoughts. All of you... it means so very much. I know I am in the company of many animal loving people. Its why I felt safe sharing my heart with you.

Oh Jack, my very special person. I knew very much how you loved and adored your Skittles. Its why I could share with you so much. I too have been through this many times. Never gets any easier, but In my heart I feel a deep need to Share my loss. To share a relationship only these loves and I share. She was my right hand and I never left home with out her. I called her my Co Pilot LOL and she was. From work to play she was there for me. I know you know and understand. Thank you soooooo much for your words, They mean VERY much! Cayenne chose me... there is a good story about Cay and I and how we met. Dogs have a wonderful sense of where they belong. She knew way before me. When Dances with Wolves is gone I hope to be done. I have given my heart over and over and I wanna save the last bit for myself :|

Yep Rusty I know you understand.. thanks for sharing in my loss. Gosh How we love those critters.
As I sat and put a few pictures together and missed her and chose a song for the video gram..... it only helped to seal the deal. She is really gone and I still celebrate every single day I had with her.
My right hand. A love that loved me more than I ever knew and she proved that too me in so many ways!
