Dad needs prayers--update

Post by piller »

My Dad has a benign tumor growing on his back and under the right shoulder blade. It is not dangerous, but he is in pain. His Primary Care Physician is getting him set up for a bone scan and then an appointment with a Surgeon. Any prayers would be appreciated.

The bone scan has been done. Now he must wait for the results. Thanks to each and every one who has prayed for him. I will update it again when we know more.

prayers from here! Sounds like my experience about 20 yrs, ago. I had a lipoma, which is a fatty tissue tumor, that grew on the back side of my right shoulder. The vascular surgeon, a very good one, named Dr. Francis, told me he had removed over 1000 in his career, and only 2 of them had turned out to be malignant. Same day surgery, local anesthetic, and we had a laugh when I felt the "tentacles" pulling out from under my arm and the front of my shoulder. sent home with a bottle of pain pills which I only used 2 of, and was back at work after the third day. I hope his experience is as simple as mine was!
