Just bought one of these

Post by 1886 »

I have not posted in a long time about a recent acquisition. There have been many. Just had to share this one.

They are sweet six shooters for sure. I have the 5 1/2" Bisley and a 4.6" plow handled one ,both in .44 special. Great shooters both.

The Bisley style has grown on me over the years, unfortunately I never got to shoot one.
Your latest acquisition looks just about perfect, I'm now green with envy....

I don't have a 44 Spcl, another gun on my "want" list. :D

gamekeeper,

I've fired both the Ruger style and original Colt style Bisley grips. Although to some they are the bees knees, to me they feel like your holding on to a 2x4 and are awkward to control.

Nice lookin' revolver, after some throat work, good shooter also. After a 10-½" .44RemMag, the .44Spl in a 6" would seem like a perfect practice gun!

I got one of the 50th Anniversary Blackhawks (357) when they came out...I need to get it back to Ruger for repair....the dang cyl will not lock up...the "things" ( ) on the back of the cyl are stripped and will not hold....I wondered why it was totally inaccurate....
