.25-35 Ammo

Post by Hawkeye2 »

My neighbor was just by here and while I was talking about the price of .30-06 he mentioned that he had a lot of .25-35 ammo he would like to sell. I didn't pin him down and the conversation was pretty fluid bit I gathered he had about 17 boxes and was thinking $30/box, said he had recently seen it at $40. He also had a bunch of 8mm JR he didn't need and then said he might trade for .25-20. If anyone is interested let me know and I can pin him down and find out exactly what brand(s) etc. he has and maybe you can work out something with him, nothing in it for me.

Don't know, as I said the conversation was fluid, we were changing topics fast and I didn't have any interest in the calibers he had. If you are seriously interested I can call him.

I just called him, told him to dig it all out, write down what brand each box was and the bullet style. I'll get back to you guys after I get the list.

Boolitshooter & Old Savage I have sent both of you the same PM regarding the quantity and condition of the ammo. If there is anything else you need to know get back to me. Sorry for the delay in responding.

Hawkeye2 responded and he has done what he said he would do.
He is a straight shooter.
With what he has had to work with on this, he is doing a great job for his older friend.
I hope I have an understanding friend like him when I'm older.
Thanks, Doug
