Hell On Wheels

Post by Blaine »

I'm late to the party, but I've been watching and enjoying Hell On Wheels on Netflix.
I never saw so many Henrys, and Golden Boys in one spot.
That ladie's tattoo keeps changing colors.
They should be careful not to show truck tire tracks along the horse trails.
It surely treats Later Day Saints harsh.
It's a rollicking good time, and lots of shooters.
I can't believe Swede isn't dead yet.
I hope Netflix brings season 5 out pretty soon.
I might go looking for a red haired Church Lady. :D

Might be something I need to watch while waiting for Longmire to come back.

It's a pretty good series. It's a shame that the last half of the last season is coming up. Not sure when it kicks back off though

I watched it when we had cable, but we cut the cord. Then I finished watching on Netflix, and I'm waiting for the final season. But I read the jerks who made it are splitting the final season into two halves! So it will take even longer to finally see the conclusion! Has a lot of fans pretty ticked off about splitting the season!

Does anyone know when it starts up again?

I got hooked on it through Netflix as well. I really like it a lot. My only complaint was that gun they used that was supposed to be a Griswold. Come on - there are plenty of replicas out there guys!

I play the theme song every time I drive home from the airport! :D

Watching shows on demand and binge watching things makes many shows much more enjoyable. But at times it takes away from them as well. A lot of build up and anticipation is lost, and you also notice building continuity errors more than you would watching with weekly or longer breaks between episodes.

A friend was complaining about some plot issue of a show I'd turned him on to that he binge watched last winter. I explained to him, what you saw in two days was supposed to take three years to reveal itself. lol THATS why it didn't have the same impact on you as it should have.

Binge watching - that's one humorous way of putting it!

I'm for that method. I record several episodes on the DVR and watch it all later. But I would rather call it something like "smart viewing" because:
1) No commercials, thus better use of my time; else 15 min. per hour is wasted viewing.
That's obvious.

2) It's easier to keep track of what's happening, because (ahem) the more "seasoned" viewers might have trouble remembering one incident or character or another from week to week.
That's annoying, and if other are watching, embarrassing.

I believe I read that 1/2 of the final season will air in May. Then the 2nd 1/2 will be 6 months to a year after that. Total baloney, since it's all done, and the actors have moved on to other jobs.

Not only that, but Netflix is dumping Dr. Who in a few days....

Yankees killed Cullen Bohannon's wife and child.....and some people wonder why Southrons still hold a grudge.

I'm amazed it hasn't turned up in Netflix's suggested stuff for my viewing pleasure..... But then they seem to be kinda light on westerns so may not have figured out that I like them.

You can go into a profile and click a choice for preference of Westerns, if you didn't know. You can also avoid categories in the same manner, if you wish.

That is good to know, thanks. I should have known that, but I'm not really one for profile tweaking - just there for the entertainment
