Stevens Marksman 25 RF

Post by pdentrem »

Found a Marksman the other day. It is a 25 RF instead of the very common 22 RF. Also came with one box of ammo and some loose rounds as well. In fairly good shape. No major dings on the wood, most of the finish and blueing is still there. A little corrosion in the barrel but the riflling is still very good.

Nice box of ammo.. If you want to shoot it some, or alot, go to Cast Boolits website. They have a lot of info about using the nail cartridges and round balls for plinking and small game. Pretty interesting read. Hope you put it to some good use. Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

That box of cartridges is probably worth more than the rifle.
Check out the collector ammo on Gun Broker.

I sold some .32rf a few years ago and was amazed at the insane return I received.
