Yard Sailing Today...

Two things you don't walk away from at a yard sale.
A $5.00 1978 box of Peters 'Blue Magic' & an old bottle of No. 9 8)

IMO, THE best target shotshell produced. I think I have 3 boxes of the last case I bought & a 35gal trash bag of once fired hulls... and NO, they're NOT for sale!

When I was trap shooting, I had several hundred hulls which I reloaded until the brass failed.

Ha! There's just something about the smell of the OLD Hoppes #9. As we all know, the formula was changed a long while back. I keep a bottle of the old stuff around and "huff" it from time to time. Better than the glue I used to play with. :D --6

Yep the 17 gr. of Red Dot was my dove/Quail load, back in the late 1970's early 80's. One hell of a bird load.
I would not use this load today with the current Alliant Red Dot. The Hercules Red Dot had a different burn rate than the new Red Dot.
