AR15 sling info and advice wanted **UPDATE**

Post by Grizz »

is there one sling that would work well as a single point for an AR pistol

and a two point for an AR carbine?

I've seen discussions, but wonder what the people who work with them prefer

thanks

Magpul MS3 or 4 would do if you had to do both.

Not typically a single point fan, but for a pistol itd work. The Magpul is one of the few convertibles which really work. I use a VTAC at work by preference.

^ This

I have had a Vickers for years and still prefer it, but got to use the Magpul at a Patrol Rifle class recently and really liked it.

I just switched over from a single point to a Vickers, on my carbine. I use the carbine for HD and the Vickers is just my preference. I will put a Magpul on my SPR.

You can buy these for less than list.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

thanks for the suggestions Guys

I picked up the magpul ms3 gen2 today. I'm happy with it so far, lying there across the sofa.

It's black, my third color choice, but it's all they had where I wuz. And it's checked off the list.

thanks again

Glad to finally have a decent sling. This one has more hardware than my rucksack. But comfort, convenience, and security trump simple every time. Right?
