I'm still digging mine out of the safe to take a pic! The ones in storage will be too time consuming... I'll be back to post a pic... later!

Ok, I quit diggin'... Here's ten of 'em, I cheated... one is actually a mdl 64A. From the top:
Image
1966 '66 Centennial, 20" which is getting a Lyman Tang Sight tomorrow, Lyman 17A front;
1967 Canadian Centennial which was rebarreled with a Trapper bbl.;
1978 standard carbine;
1977 Legendary Lawman Trapper;
1979 w/Numrich 26" heavy octagon bbl, color cased receiver & forend cap;
1972 mdl 64A;
1975 std carbine;
1950 std carbine;
1973 std carbine; and
1976 Bi-Centennial Commemorative.

Plus this and now four other project 94s:

Picked it up from a forum member a few years ago. Still appears unfired... I may, or may not, rectify that! I don't know where that gold tone came from in the pic, unless it's a reflection off the deerhide antirattle... but, yes, the wood is striking, no?

Lots of good looking 94s there.

Griff, your 1979 is CCH? When I was building mine I tried to find someone to do that and no one would touch it.

Yeah, a fellar up in WY did it back in 1989. At the time, one of very few folks doing real bone, leather & charcoal CCH. He's since retired. Most people won't touch 'em due to frame warpage.

I know we talked about it when I was building mine. I really wanted mine CCH but I ended up just doing a worn type of finish on mine.

Rube, I think I said it before, but I'll say it again, that came out looking GREAT! I'd be proud to own that gun... if it were in .30-30! :P :lol: :lol:

Geobru, super cool. While I love looking at fancy safe queens, I think I like the "I've been around the block a few times" look even better. Not "kicked around the block"... but that used, but well cared for demeanor!

Thanks. It is my first and only (so far) 38-55. Just had to try it out. I'm very pleased with how it looks and shoots.

I like the been around the block a few times look also.

45/70 because I am not remotely interested in packing meat an extra 200 yards.

That 375 looks good!

Here's the two I have, always gravitated towards the '92s and '95s.

Grandpa's .38-55, the outside is a little rough but the bore is perfect and a super accurate rifle.
Made in 1907.

I would like to show my little bunch of Winchesters but I can't use Photobucket any more. My grandson is here from Texas, I may get him to take some pictures and post them for me.
This kind of post has in the past has run for a few pages.

Sweet 94's!
Ya, I like just seeing them too :mrgreen:

That's how I got to owning mine.
As a kid I'd lay on the living room floor in the sun and quietly flip through page after page of black and white leverguns while the grandparents had their afternoon nap, dreaming of maybe..... one day.........

We've come a long way together.
