Hello everyone.
Sorry for being away for so long. Thank you for all the nice birthday greetings. So what's been going on with me? I've retired for the second time, had a back surgery to name a few things. Also, lost about 80% of my trees up here in the Sierra Nevada due to that bark beetle that has wiped out all the trees here in Mariposa County. So, cutting, splitting & stacking has been my life. Well, not totally. Now there is time for the lovely Miss Leti and myself to enjoy the grandchildren. Only new gun I bought wasn't a lever gun but was an evil black rifle (AR15) which I made less evil for my state (California) by replacing the stock with one that looks like it was made in Whoville. I call it my Dr. Seuss rifle. Anyway, hello again to everybody. Oh, how's Hobie doing? Is he just as mean as ever?

Tom, sorry to hear about the bark beetles. We have had some spectacular lodgepole pine kills here in Oregon. As your drought ends, the problem should begin to diminish. Sure wish I had grandkids. Hearing you loud and clear on back surgery. I am about to go in for round two.
