348 Levergun

Post by JimT »

Well ... it does have a Lever ...
My friend Tom kept hearing guys say they wished Ruger would make a #1 in .348 .. so he went to Regan Nonneman and had one built. I shot it this last week and what a sweet gun it is!

Is that the NECG peep site? If so, how does he like it? Nice rifle and cartridge. Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

I am not sure. I know he mentioned it as something special but I don't remember what he said.

Love the 348, but I'd really like find a #1 in 9.3x74R.
My #1B in 218 is a bug hole shooter! Wish I had someplace to groundhog hunt as I'm too far to blast pasture poodles!

Build it. There are folks out there like Nonneman who can do it.

CDNN has them for $899. Pretty neat rifle, but not as cool as a 348!
