If you like Cinnamon-whiskey....
....but don't like the major amount of sugar in it (Fireball tastes more like cinnamon schnapps to me), just drop a chunk of cinnamon bark in the bottle. You can add more whiskey as the level gets low and the bite lessens but is still there.

I like Fire Jack, it is a little less syrupy. Nor quite as sweet.

Straight, no ice, no chaser, no flavors or sugar. At home, just a pull from the bottle does the trick.

Same here, also not chilled. Room temp so the flavor comes out.
But there is a local place making "Brown Sugar Bourbon" that is pretty tasty. Looking forward to next winter so I can try it in some warm drinks.

Re: If you like Cinnamon-whiskey....
Yep! That's the way I used to like it. Funny thing happened to me when I turned somewhere around 60..........after not drinking since I was 40 I thought I was more mature at 60 to start up again. Found out I was back to being a drunk in about two weeks along with my inner ear filling up with fluid which caused me to flop around like a fish...extreme vertigo. Could not and cannot handle even two beers and the dizziness would start.
Oh well, you guys enjoy it. I'm going back to shooting heroin....much safer. ----6

When I was drinkin;', we used to call this kinda stuff "foo-foo" drinks (as in "foo-foo sissy slop" with little umbrellas and cherries in a silly glass). If I was ill, I'd drink some Rock-N-Rye, but real men liked good old Straight Rye Whiskey, sometimes with Branch...

Real men drink whatever they want with no apologies to anyone.
I prefer Russian Imperial Stout beer and Doppelbocks which means I often have to supply my own.
I don't look down on anyone who drinks light beer.
I just feel sorry for the things they will never know.

My gramps used to drop a whole Japanese Pit Viper (mamushi) into a bottle of Shochu (Japanese Vodka) and let it age for several months before taking a shot. I have never tried "Mamushi Sake" but I did try Okinawan "Habu Sake" made by combining Okinawan Pit Viper (habu) with Awamori (Okinawan vodka). It was very smooth and tasty. I still prefer a single malt scotch aged at least 12 years if I have a choice of distilled stuff.
