You peaked my interest cuz I was thinking of heading there this winter. The realization of this post left me feeling like down in the valley... Todd

Plan that carefully the elevation of the south rim (north is closed) makes it fairly cool.3leggedturtle wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 5:57 pm You peaked my interest cuz I was thinking of heading there this winter. The realization of this post left me feeling like down in the valley... Todd

It is plain to see that eroded his fame for a while and plateaued, but he is back. He can be punny, even if his words don't rim.

Paladin, that was my attempt at sophisticated dry humor.. if I do head to Arizona, it will be to Yuma. I haven’t made it to the Grand Canyon yet which I feel bad about.. Re: Favorite Place In AZ
Way back in the day some relatives returned from a trip out west.....
Aunt Susie was very emotional and descriptive of the grand canyon......Uncle Leo said it was just a great big hole in the ground......
In Hollywood, Aunt Susie thought she saw Lucile Ball at a distance......Uncle Leo, on meeting Walter Brennan on a sidewalk, in true tourist from the east fashion, was impertinent and tried to be famiiar. Brennan, aghast at having to shake yet another redneck fan's hand, footed it and escaped into a convenient taxi.
Uncle Leo said "That essobee don't gimp in real life!" meaning Brennan's loping gait in character as Amos McCoy.
