At least it's a gun topic,,,,
Browsing the used guns,
BRNO 22 Mag Semi-auto (? Mdl605)( Magazine ) with a Bushnell ( No Model ) 3-9 scope. The rifle was very clean but had a split fore stock.
The sales guy was quick to show it to me, Nice handling gun,
Looked well made, Scope looked like it was not an expensive one.
But I was impressed with the Rifle , They were asking 500 plus.
I'm sure they would take less.
I was wondering what you'all think of this rifle....
I Tryed the internet, not much out there....

If you haven't already...you may want to try www.rimfirecentral.com. I believe I've seen something similar to that discussed there.

The gun you're looking at should be the BRNO 611 or 611A.
The earlier 611 is said to be the better made of the two, but I had a new 611A for a few years w/o any probs/issues.
They are identical to the CZ's, and need special scope rings for the integral scope grooves - available from Burris through swfa.com for $30.
They're now discontinued, but were fairly accurate & well-made rifles. I bought mine after dissatisfaction with the then-new Ruger 10/22 Magnum, as I wanted a walnut stock, a better trigger, etc, etc, etc.
That said $500 is more than one's worth, especially with a cracked forend.
I'd think about it, a little - but only for one strictly NIB.
Extra mags, when they can be found, run $50-$60 each.
I bought mine new for $425, three years ago, and sold it for $450 about a year ago, scoped.

They are neat rifles. I can't remember who it was but one of those exhibition shooters was doing some amazing things with one on one of those outdoor life shows.
They are going up but $500 with a damaged stock and no box is a little steep.
