I'm young compared to most of you, but at 60 my "handgun eyes" really don't like plain or 3 dot sights. I just bought one of the new HK VP9 Long Slide kits because they had fiber optic sights. What a difference the fiber optic sights made.
I really like my P320, but hate the sights. I saw an ad from Trijicon that was showing their new fiber optic sight sets for handguns. What I really liked about them over the Hi-Viz version is that they have a steel vs aluminum base. They won't bend when pushing in to the front dovetail. I paid under $80 installed and they really are a real improvement.

I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

I added fiberoptic with tritium to my Glock. Now I can see it in the daylight or at night. Same for my Ruger P85. Talk about an improvement in accuracy!

My only fiber optic sights are on my air rifle and my 70 year old eyes like them a lot..

The red dot sight and scopes make it much easier for me. Some of the newer Class etched optics are fast and easy to focus day and night.
