How much do I offer for ff?
I have an opportunity to buy a case of FF from an estate. I don’t know what to offer for it. I’m not exactly sure whether it’s FF or FFG. Any ideas?
Kind regards,
Tycer

I just bought 10 lbs of Goex from Powder Inc. It was about $25 per pound which included hazmat.

For me, it would depend heavily on the powder brand. Swiss or Olde Eynsford command more money. Goex is pretty much the standard, but there are several other brands out there. Three years ago I bought a 25 lb. keg of G.O.I. (Gearhart-Owens Industries) for $8 per lb. . They went out of business in 1983. Unfortunately I lost it all when my place burned in the Carr Fire in 2018. More recently, I bought some Goex from an estate sale for $10 a pound, and bought at retail Olde Eynsford at $22 a pound. If the powder is Goex, I would offer the estate $14 a pound.

He's more generous with your money that I... I'd offer $12! If it was my money, I'd offer $10!!!Shasta wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 8:01 pmFor me, it would depend heavily on the powder brand.
