My Wife's GP100 does good with 100 to 115 grain bullets. Her's has adjustable sights.

Lots of talk about this little cartridge at the shooting range where I work part-time. I see from Shot Show coverage that Taurus has a snubby in .327

It is small enough to allow for a moderate sized gun with quite a bit of bark to it. I like it.

I hope Ruger brings this out in the Marlin ( man that sounds weird) 1894 16" version, not ported. I have the 1894 p and while I love the gun, I hate the porting, it's just not needed.

Agreed! But I'm actually hoping for a cowboy model. I like the way my 94 Cowboy .357 hangs in my hands.

Do you know what kind of velocity you were getting with the 12 gr? I suspect your analysis on this pistol preferring a certain velocity threshold is spot on.

Brian shows 1284 out of a 3 inch SP101. So I’m guessing around 1300 fps.

Scott, did you eat that nopal cactus you shot the neat cloverleaf in? (My momma said you should always eat what you shoot....unless it's a beer can).

Great shooting and a great post--learned a lot. Now all I need to do is find a .327 I can afford. Or even one I can't afford. Scarce as hen's teeth right now--I'm on a few waiting lists.

Lol! I don’t eat prickly pear. I’ve got acres of this and no use for it at all except for target practice.
