Remington is tone deaf

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

Remington sends me ads about its new ammo plant. I get excited because I like Remington ammo.

Then, before I see any ammo, Remington sends me ads about how Remington is sending ammo to Ukraine.

Remington is tone deaf.

I hate not having primers sitting on the shelf waiting for me to want them. But I sure hope Ukraine has what it needs. Yep, I don't make it to the range that often but I can get by a few more years.

I heard some Nascar owner sent 1 million rounds of 9mm to Ukraine. Is it true, I dont know but if he did I think he deserves a medal.

Yes, almost makes me a Nascar fan( not really) or at least a fan of that team.
Now if he can send a million rounds, how much does he have stashed away?!

Another manufacturer "USA Ammo?" sent 1 million assorted rounds well. Thats not what they need though. They need anti tank, anti aircraft and heavy machine guns. If NATO had done its job to begin with Ukraine wouldnt be in such dire straits......rant over

I'll be happy to wait for primers, etc. if Remington or any others are prioritizing ammo to Ukraine!

I bought three flats of the new Remington ammo 12 gauge 2 3/4" 1 ounce loads of #8's . Got them from one of our distributers .

When they arrived at the shop my three flats and a friends two flats all rattled with loose shot inside . The consistancey of the crimp was bad at best out of each flat there were an average of five shells that wouldn't hold the shot but evidently had made it thru the lack of quality control . Unsatisfactory is a mild understatement .

I dunno about the 9 mil stuff but I do know that Hendrick pledged to send $2000 for every lap one of his four cars led the race . I'm no fan of Hendrick but I do watch a couple of his drivers .

I don't mind that Remington is sending ammo to Ukraine I guess. But I sure wish I could find some 180 grain .30-06 in my local toy stores.

I'm good. Don't need a thing from them.
